Mr. Harper's Arbitration Rates
Arbitration services are provided on an hourly basis and billed to each party separately and equally. Mr. Harper’s hourly rate for work as a mediator is $300.00 per hour ($150 per party per hour).
Payment of fees are due within five (5) business days of the conclusion of the Arbitration, whether the case is resolved at mediation or not.
After the conclusion of the arbitration, should Mr. Harper be required to provide any additional services regarding the matter, such as testimony, any time actually spent by Mr. Harper to prepare for and provide such services or testimony will be billed to the party necessitating or requesting such work at $300 per hour. Should Mr. Harper’s services or testimony be necessitated or requested by multiple parties, the hourly rate will be divided equally among all parties.
Cancellation Policy: Any party may cancel or reschedule a arbitration—at no cost—as close as ten (10) business days prior to the arbitration. There is also no charge for cancellations due to “acts of God” or for medical reasons that are unavoidable. With advance notice of 10 days or more, either party may re-schedule the arbitration (to a date certain within one month of the original date) one time for good cause. Otherwise, a re-scheduling will be treated as a cancellation. Cancellation less than five (5) business days prior to the arbitration will obligate the cancelling party to pay 50% of the total charges for the scheduled arbitration..
